Actually pretty good...
My review is more a review of the Mi Band 2 and Mi Fit app together.
Ive deducted a star from the app for a lack luster feature set and clumsy interface. While usable, it could use some work. I also took away a star for sync reliability (1 or 2 out of every 5 syncs will error out). The app isnt horrible and every update brings greater stability and new features. This last one I noticed saves the heart rate metrics you get while initiating the feature from the band. I did have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get it to start syncing again after the update though...
That said, I REALLY like the Mi Band 2. The band is much more attractive to wear than most Fitbit devices available, and the battery life is INCREDIBLE. Add to that the fact that the price is a fraction of the cost of a Fitbit its easy to forgive a hiccup in the apps performance here and there. Especially since each issue Ive had has been easily remedied. The only thing I can say Fitbit might have the edge on is its competitive feature that allows you to challenge your other Fitbit wearing friends. For this reason Ive started using an app called Stridekick. As a bonus its compatible with almost every fitness tracker available so I can compete with all my friends, not just the ones using Fitbit.
If youre patient and can deal with the occasional app hiccup I highly recommend the Xiaomi Mi Bands!
