Zepp Life (Formerly MiFit) App Reviews

Totally unreliable

App has worked properly one day out of the first week Ive had it. Band disconnects when you least expect it (like at the start of an 8-mile hike) and does not sync properly when you finally get it to connect later. Hike and thousands of steps, of course, go unrecorded. Sleep function has not yet worked a single night. You get what you pay for -- luckily my Mi band was a gift...

Very very poorly designed device

Its cheap, but you pay what you get. Bought 2 because a friend recommended. They only worked for two months, can never be connected to my iPhone. Tried everything it recommended to do in vain. I know others bought it have their own various different problems, may not like mine which is totally useless.

Not too bad

I have iPhone 6S and Mi band 2. I can set up the alarm, showing sleep status, steps, call and messages notice...

Always loses sync

Works great when it is connected, but the app always "cant find my mi band" even when it right on my wrist and has been right near my phone all day. Only fix is to unpair and pair again which causes me to lose all my steps recorded by the band. Seems like an app issue since my phone still says the band is connected via Bluetooth. Please fix!!

Wont update

Wont update on my 6s.

Good job (sarcasm)

Still no smart alarm. Its the only reason that I bought mi band.

Update killed my Mi Band connection

My Mi Band is no longer staying connected to my iPhone unless I have the app open. Update broke it.

still crash crash crash

iphone 5s ios 9.3.3 mi band 1s history crashing

Not working anymore

Stopped working after update. Nothing works anymore!

Actually pretty good...

My review is more a review of the Mi Band 2 and Mi Fit app together. Ive deducted a star from the app for a lack luster feature set and clumsy interface. While usable, it could use some work. I also took away a star for sync reliability (1 or 2 out of every 5 syncs will error out). The app isnt horrible and every update brings greater stability and new features. This last one I noticed saves the heart rate metrics you get while initiating the feature from the band. I did have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get it to start syncing again after the update though... That said, I REALLY like the Mi Band 2. The band is much more attractive to wear than most Fitbit devices available, and the battery life is INCREDIBLE. Add to that the fact that the price is a fraction of the cost of a Fitbit its easy to forgive a hiccup in the apps performance here and there. Especially since each issue Ive had has been easily remedied. The only thing I can say Fitbit might have the edge on is its competitive feature that allows you to challenge your other Fitbit wearing friends. For this reason Ive started using an app called Stridekick. As a bonus its compatible with almost every fitness tracker available so I can compete with all my friends, not just the ones using Fitbit. If youre patient and can deal with the occasional app hiccup I highly recommend the Xiaomi Mi Bands!

Needs to improve

Add food intake calories count

Early Bird alarm feature gone

The Mi Band is excellent value but the latest version of this app removed the Early Bird alarm functionality.

Very bad update

Friends the last update is very bad, please back to the previous one. It is very good, smooth and everything is easy with all pages

Latest version (2.1.6) broken - do not download!

Previous versions of Mi Fit worked pretty well. As of 26 July 2016 version, 2.1.6, app has trouble syncing, and then does not store what data it does download (apparently only steps, no sleep data). My app show 0 activity and no sleep data at all since 26 July.

Heartrate monitoring is not fir sportmen.

Sampling rate is too low. Its useless for sportmen. Youd better add Sport mode which can monitor heartrate continuously.

Bring back smart alarm

Its the main reason I bought this band last year, but then you removed the feature in favor of… what? A buggy UI.

Intruder chinese

Sign up by email and it wants to access my email profiles. For what? Its an exercise app. Very scary. I denied the access, therefore, no account. It also claims that 10millions Mi Bands were sold in 2015. Why in the world Mi Fit app is still not user-friendly, especially, with iPhone? What a point of having good band with bad app?

Mi Band 2: One Star ★✰✰✰✰

Xiaomi Mi Band 2 and Mi Fit app, not yet ready for prime time? Unreliable. Bad exercise HR data. Will NOT measure HR over 110 BPM, on a very brisk walk. Sleep monitor, resting HR, step counter have some value. All other functions are too unreliable and erroneous. Pedometer step count can be way off on measured mile walk. Even the clock doesnt keep good time, just a few hours after the last Bluetooth sync, it drifts off by more than a few minutes. BT sync is hit-or-miss. Often takes two or three tries to get a sync to complete. Sync too slow and big waste of time. Plan to return the device for a full refund if the next update fails to fix problems. Thank you Amazon Prime! Looking elsewhere for an exercise heart rate monitor that I can wear on my wrist for under $50. ||| ≡≡≡ ||| Update! Just discovered the MI HR app which can capture continuous HR from Mi Band. This may solve many problems for EXERCISE heart rates!

History does not work

Since v2.0.4 i cannot view the history, app crashes

Doesnt sync after upgrade

The new upgrade is useless. Nothing works.
